Guess What Today Is?

Yeah, Election Day.  I heard.

Actually, if you would kindly read my introduction in my sidebar . . .

You're back?

Yep, you're right.  Today is my four-year blogging anniversary.

Four years ago today I began blogging with this six-sentence post.

I don't think anyone but me has ever even read it.

Four years--906 posts, dozens of projects, eight foster kids, two graduations, one mission, one baby of my own, one wedding, and almost two grandkids later.

Four years--hundreds of comments, hundreds of ideas, hundreds of pictures, hundreds of memories.

Hundreds of friends.

Thanks for joining me on this blogging adventure.  I have found a small place of the world where I can truly be myself.

And now, I echo what I so eloquently stated four years ago--

I will hold my breath for the day, watch too many hours of TV news, and wait for the election results.

I'm grateful to be an American where we have the freedom to vote our hearts, our minds, our beliefs, and our consciences.

Thanks for the memories.

Here's to four more years.

Of memories, that is.

  9. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
