More from Sandy's Aftermath

I was sent this picture yesterday of Tucker assisting in the hurricane cleanup.  Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the missionaries wearing these yellow vests have been dubbed by the locals as "the Little Yellow Army of Happiness.”
Just from looking at his clothes, I can tell he's working hard to help any way he can.  That makes a mama proud.

I received this link today--Mormon Helping Hands in the Rockaways.  It's about eight minutes long, but it's well worth your time.

Although Tucker isn't in the video, it brought me to tears, knowing how he is helping others in their desperation.

If you would like to help, a link is provided at the end of the video.

  3. Isn't is such a blessing to your mother-heart when you see your child engaged in hard work AND smiling?! Loved the video so much, I posted it on my FB.
    Thanks, Jen!

  4. I saw the video last night and was really touched by it. So cool to think that your boy is there, adding to the wonderfulness that is Mormon Helping Hands.

Makes me proud! And I'm so glad our people are in a position to help.
