Breathing the Mountain Air

It only takes two breaths up here to calm my soul.

Today we slept in, watched seven deer forage for their breakfast as we devoured chocolate chip pancakes on the other side of the glass, and zoned out to Harry Potter 4. Brad is ready to chainsaw up some stuff, and I'm headed to town to find a lilac bush to plant next to my swing bed. It promises to be beautiful here, and I'm making the most of every second. Too short this time, but better than nothing. And it will wait patiently for the next time we can sneak away. I love this patch of earth.

  1. I wish I could see the photos my computer says are here, if you get a chance when you get home will you try to reload them? Jealous of your lilac bush, those are my favorite! Next year you will have to bring some of the blossoms back to the valley, that smell takes me right back to my childhood and my grandmother's yard especially. Love those!
