Foto Friday--Wedding Pictures #2

These are just a few of my favorite shots from the day. I can't wait to see what the pro captured.  It really was a perfect day--weather, ceremony, family, friends.
As Heidi was leaving, she hugged me tight and said, "Thanks, Mom.  It was exactly what I wanted."
And that made it all worth it.

  2. Congratulations Mum and Dad - Heidi's comment makes it all worth while. Love the last photo of the two of them kissing and the reflection - truly beautiful. Red is my favourite colour of the moment and I went to a ball wearing my red shoes recently. Keep the photos coming. Love and hugs from New Zealand.

  4. You did a fantastic job! All those months of planning every detail really paid off. It could not have happened without your amazing friends. I appreciate all that you AZ folks did to make such a memorable day for my precious granddaughter and new grandson.

  5. I love the picture of your middle daughter whose name escapes me at the moment. Her dress and expression are so lovely.

And the newlyweds look like they came right out of a movie in that last shot!

But best of all is what Heidi said at the end of the evening...

Exactly what you every mother hopes to hear.

    =)

  8. How stinkin' cute are those shoes???? I want a pair!

You're right, if your camera captured these pics just imagine what the pro caught on film. (And by no means and I calling you a "non" pro...)

  9. I love your wedding! I wish you could come do mine now. Your food table was so elegant, and the red licorice in the glass containes! Perfect. I'll add one more voice to HEIDI'S SHOES!!! What a fun choice! Love it. (My daughter wore white flip flops with white orchids attached - her personality) Everything looks so amazing - job well done! You'll have so many beautiful images to add to the memories in your head. And last but not least: Heidi's comment to you. Perfect. Worth all the craziness right there. You must be feeling pretty good about now!

  13. Jen...

I'm sending someone over to your blog (a woman I met on Segullah) because she is becoming a foster parent and seemed to want to touch base with another LDS family who's done the same.

Her name is Jen, too, so keep an eye out for her, okay?

    Thanks.

    =)
