Giveaway Winners!

I know you've all been waiting, holding your breath until the results of this fantastic giveaway were revealed, right?

Well, I have another surprise for you.  I may have completely lost my mind, but I once again spent my whole weekend making jam.  This time it was apricot.  And apricot/pineapple.  So, as an added bonus, I'm throwing in a fourth prize--apricot jam!  Now I'm hoping not to see another orange-y fruit in my back yard until the actual oranges are ripe.  Between the peaches and the apricots, I bottled over 2000 ounces--178 jars.  Whew!
My work is your gain.  So, without further stalling tactics, I reveal the FOUR winners, chosen at random by each of my kids:

Lily chose the first number: 19, Stef at Oops, There Goes My Mind will be receiving DeAnne Flynn's book, The Time-Starved Family. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.
Micah chose next: number 43, Jen at Jen's Ink Pen. Ready for some peachy syrupy goodness?  I'll trade you for a "Life is Good" baseball cap!
Ben chose his favorite number: 22 Jamie at Just a Little Taste.  She will be hand-delivered the Neal A. Maxwell quote (since her house is only a hefty stone's throw from my own).

And the surprise bonus gift winner.  Tucker quizzically looked up at me from his scriptures and asked my why in the heck I was asking him this question.  When I told him it was for my blog, he screwed up his face in disgust and said, "One."  So, Allyson, at The MVPs of Mesa Town, can I interest ya in a little apricot jam?  Or apricot/pineapple?  Your choice.  If you're stopping by to see Tucker before he leaves you can pick your own.

Send me your addresses, Stef and Jen, and I'll get these in the mail.

Alas.  I wish I could send out some of my frozen beets.  They really are scrumptious if you can get past the mental block that you're eating beets.

I don't know what it is about a giveaway that is so fun.  Maybe it's just another way that we can feel connected to each other.  I hope you enjoyed it, and maybe I'll be hosting another one soon.

And thanks to Blue Artichoke Interiors. She gave me the the Honest Scrap award.
I was very flattered by what she said about my blog, and she lives in the valley. If I ever see a blue artichoke walking through the mall, I'll be sure to stop and say hi. I've learned my lesson on that one!

  1. What a good mum you are. A crazy jam making mum, but a good one none the less. As you know those beets are a terrible teaser for us Bungalow'56'ers. I loved the post of sleeping kids. I would have never thought of the trampoline. Unfortunately the mosquitoes would my kids alive. The big pile was precious.

  2. Awwww Tuck tuck, always got my back. I'll totally take some jammy goodness! HELLO! And yes, this gives me even more reason to get over and say goodbye to my Tucker friend.

Have I mentioned your crazy town for all that bottling. But, I'm soo impressed!

  3. Jam totally DOESN'T count. The no sugar thing applies strictly to no cookies, cake, candy. You know, just super overt forms of bad for you sugar. You eat all the jam you want my friend. Besides, heaven knows you EARNED it!

  15. *head hanging* I wanted some of that peachy syrup/jam. I am happy for the winners, but mostly I'm envious. You should get a prize yourself for all that canning!
