Summer Vacay

Enjoying a few days in the wet Northwest. My boys were so excited for the rain and the lake. Until they actually got here and felt cold rain and fell into the cold lake (including bonus leeches--awesome). Until nothing ever got dry and no one ever got warm.
I'm loving every single second. Everything is glorious and green and wet and lush and beautiful. See you Thursday!

  1. I was just wondering what you were up to, hope you are enjoying the break from Mesa HEAT! Hope you got photos of the leeches-I've never seen real ones. I Google Earthed Port Washington, looks beautiful! Hope your missionary is adjusting well to the heat and humidity.

  2. Enjoy your vacation! I love it up there. True, it never really dries out, or ever really feels like summer, but it's so so green and beautiful! The leeches I could do without. Quite a change from home, huh?

I'd rather have your heat though.

  8. Everything would have been fine up to the leeches. I would have to leave at that point.

We have a cold day at the beach, first one this week. We've been lucky other than that.

  14. I think I was inspired to pick up my laptop tonight. I haven't even thought about blogs for months and months, but tonight, I thought I wonder what Jen is doing. I skipped through everyone else's updates and came straight to yours. Then I read your post about bloggers who have disappeared and I realized how much I have missed you.
