Foto Friday--Finally!

He's finally legal.  And finally free.

He came home from school the first day with a huge grin on his face and an empty Wendy's frosty cup in his hand.

And now I don't have to drive him all over creation.  That's what I call a win-win situation.

Enjoy the last weekend of the Olympics!

  1. My daughter just got hers this week too. Win-win agreed, but sad too. She's my last.

  2. That smile is priceless.

I can't believe they are in school already. It's too soon.

  3. So last night, I was leaving the gym (Red Mountain) with my 2 kids in tow when I heard the lady next to me say on the phone, "Hi, this is Hyrum's mom." I looked over and it was you!
I know you've blogged before about how it's kind of exciting to meet people you 'blog stalk' in real life and I really wanted to say hi to you but then my little girl tripped on the curb and I looked up and you were in your car. Plus, I felt a bit weird yelling out your name since you have absolutely no idea who I am.
But it was cool to actually see you in person! You're one of my favorite "mommy bloggers" and I love following your blog.

  4. Congrats Ben. I'm curious about the fish hook he's wearing round his neck -is it a bone carving from NZ as it looks like one? Of course I could be mistaken. Now I just need to get my 17yo to learn the road code so we can start her on driving lessons. This year has been so busy running her to various music commitments as well as the younger three to their events. I could do with a driver in the house! Cath
