Our Summer Vacation--Rexburg, Part 2

It's taken me weeks to get these pictures edited.

We took the whole crew to see "Despicable Me 2."  We all piled into the theater, armed with popcorn, drinks, treats, Icees, you name it, and found seats on the front row.

After two previews, the screen went dark.  We suspected a film issue, but that was not the case.  The power was out all across Rexburg, and we ended up sitting in the theater and walking the lobby for over 45 minutes while we waited for power to be restored.  There's nothing more tempting/annoying than an entire game room with no power--just ask Hyrum how many tickets you can get when you whack moles with no power.

When visiting Rexburg, Idaho, you have to visit Big Jud's (as featured on Man vs. Food at its Boise location).
Waiting was hard for Miss Ellie, but once she got a drink, she did better.
I didn't need dinner--I could have just nibbled Nathan!
Ben and Tucker each ordered the Big Jud--a one-pound burger--and took the challenge to try and eat it all in one sitting. Those who finish a Big Jud (or a double or a triple or even a quintuple was attempted), get their photo up on the wall of fame.

Heidi and Sam were a little smarter, and they ordered one for them to split.
What does Ellie love more--ketchup or corn dogs?  It was a toss-up.
We were novices and ordered extra fries--beginner's mistake.  Next time we'll know that they aren't even necessary.
She may be tiny, but this little girl loves her food.  She ate and ate and ate and ate some more, especially the candy necklaces that come with kids' meals.
And who won the Big Jud challenge?  Tucker!  Ben only ate half, but he claimed it was because he didn't want to be miserable later. (This came to haunt Tucker later, when he horsed around with his cousins and turned green and threatened to throw up that Big Jud.)

Don't forget me!  I love food too!
