Seeing the Light

This is a small thing, but I want to remember it.

Eve and I drive about 20 minutes each way to her piano lesson every Wednesday. It's a pretty long drive (but the teacher is so worth the effort), and after Eve finishes her theory assignment, she often asks for my phone.

One day, she handed me the phone and said, "Look at these! Aren't they cool? I had to take them because the light was so interesting. And they were so much better in black and white."

I found a dozen pictures of her new running shoes.
As a (very) amateur photographer, I notice interesting light more often than most people.
I'm happy that Eve sees the beauty of light as well.
My baby is growing up. And I can't wait to see where her curiosity takes her.
