Discomfited

My skin doesn't fit right.
Hyrum's mealy worms and I have a lot in common these days.

Something just feels off and weird and  . . .

. . .  like I need to shed my skin and move on to something more glorious and more mobile with more arms and legs.

No. That's not right. Analogy ends there.

Have you ever felt like life is so great and good and . . . you are somehow missing something important that you should be doing? Or have no idea what that important something is?

I'm that underdeveloped mealy worm who's waiting for its legs to grow enough to move to the next experience.

Grow faster, legs.

Don't know if I want the antennae, though.

  2. Yes, Jen...I truly was just thinking that last December. That kind of thought usually is followed by a sudden cold streak of fear running down my spine... Just sayin' ;)
